stevo94 Posted March 11, 2014 Share Posted March 11, 2014 might be a very stupid question to you starlet enthusiasts but is a starlet sportif engine basically the same as a glanza v just without the turbo , for example if i turbo a sportif engine is it going to be exactly the same as glanza v ?? bit complicated but tried to word it as best i can thanks ! ryan lang Posted March 11, 2014 Share Posted March 11, 2014 no dude, its been covered a few times pistons are different,valve springs are different,thermo housing is different,sump is different,sump pickup is different,rods differ between some models,tb is different,inlet manifold is different,injectors are different,it doesnt have a knock sensor,the attatchment for the oil filter cant be bolted onto the block,theres extra pipes on the coolant temp sensor housing for lines to the turbodistributor cap is differentexternal coil ignition systemfuel pressure regulator is different theres more to the list but i cant think of them off the top of my head at the moment Quote Link to post Share on other sites
