richardc9052
Is it possible to get these new? I have a leak there, I swapped out the pipes for another that looked like it had one in good condition but the leak stayed.. Also sheared off the bracket to hold the pipe in place.. What a day!!!!! richardc9052
Fair enough!! Didn't think it would be a good idea to put sealant in there incase you get any rogue bits lol I'll try that next! Just need to sort the sheared bolt now!
rwdrev
it was only a small amount (acting as a lube at the same time) then a little around the hole when the pipe was fitted, just to make sure, lol only did it this way because the original 1 split, and didnt want it to split again as i took t the inlet off and didnt want to pull it apart for a second time
richardc9052
Ahh I managed to take mine off without removing the inlet. Really annoying as I put the engine together on the ground and it all seemed good.. Oh well the joys of it!! Have to buy more coolant now too because I didn't manage to catch all of it
