engine paint

Hi does any know what paint to use on engine as I want to paint mine before I put it in. I have seen rob_bower engine and it looks sweet. But I want the red instead of orange. Does any one know.

Etc spray or paint brushed it on. Also what's grey did he use.

engine enamel, 2k, hammerite, brake caliper paint,

i used halfrauds heat resistant and its flaking of like cornflakes

ive used brake caliper paint, works really well, if your doing a real nice engine, then single pack and 2k laquer.

All depends on the prep, how much dirt/oil is left on the block.

On the head cover? I've only ever used just normal halfords rattle can and primer. Never had a problem with it coming off.
