Crank from one engine into another?

As title says, would it be safe to do? Would balance be off? Looking to know as my mate bought a glanza and the bearings are rattleing, found metal fileings and there is alot of movement on the rods.

might need to be line bored, best thing get it checked by an engineer.

As long as the tollerances are ok you should be fine swapping in another crank.
