hughes21 Posted May 20, 2014 Share Posted May 20, 2014 My gearbox is clonking in 2nd 3rd 4th and 5th at low speeds it's quite loud but when you speed up it's much quieter on the motoway it's preety much silent ? Defo check oil again or change it if needs beIt never used to until a few weeks back I only put it at Christmas so oil was fine I dropped it all out and put fresh oil in last week still the same so it's not beacause low oil or anything Quote Link to post Share on other sites

fiddlersport Posted May 22, 2014 Share Posted May 22, 2014 pop off drive shafts and take a look through the hole, or shake the drive shafts to see if there is any play on the g-box side, sounds like the bearings on the diff possibley, seen it before Quote Link to post Share on other sites
