fremyjay
True bud the sheets are cheap its the applicator that is expensive, could always do a few parts for others to recoup some funds, I'm thinking of doing a few parts for mine at some point
TD04HYBRID
Been looking into it but what size tank would you get!
fremyjay
I would do it in the bath as I've seen plenty of people doing it lol or in the kitchen sink for small bits, if looks straight forward plus its lacquered after so lasts as long as paint
TD04HYBRID
Won't it fuck the bath up lol!
fremyjay
No it dissolves into the water when you swirl it around, there's a UK company with an impreza and he was doing it in his bath, or you can always get plastic storage boxes bud

fremyjay
I get base coat from pound land , they do white, grey and black and never had a problem and clear coat dozen cost much, cheaper to look about as the kits are more expensive and you only get a small sheet of film with it
5e colin
^^^ i have base coat and lacquer for paint so dont knead any more stuff i think but i wont be doing this the next few weeks stone broke ha ha maybe in 3 weeks or so ??? bean watching vids online till 3 and the amount that can be dipped is unreal i can see in the future some1 dipping the front wings :) the only problem is the bucket/tank to fit big parts in like wings etc etc and the film/carbon only comes max in 100cm by desired lenght must go hunting for 2meters wide so we can dip the bonnet
