richardc9052 Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 The guy that made my loom will do so if you send him the looms. He charges £100+ you arrange couriers both ways
Happyb Posted June 17, 2014 Posted June 17, 2014 Alot of differences between the two like fuse boxes and interior loom connection into fuse box!
BIGGFOOT Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Would love to see this when it's done! Good stuff fiddler get the big lump in
fiddlersport Posted June 18, 2014 Author Posted June 18, 2014 engine is in. just wiring side of the conversion left. wish i knew how to but dont so, stuffed until the wiring is done ! bump
richardc9052 Posted June 18, 2014 Posted June 18, 2014 Already have you info on where to get it done?
teta Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 i think you should compare both loom alongside each other to see similiarities & differences, use both looms to make one,& i know its easier said than done
morgey Posted June 23, 2014 Posted June 23, 2014 Theres not that many wires that need wiring in. Starter signal and powerFuel pumpOil pressure switch. Rev'sThe engine loom along with the ecu can all be put in place. The there's some obvious ones into the bay fuse box that you can do yourself. Some others but it's just trial and error with a multimeter and labelling what you need and where they go. Plugs can be re pinned to keep it neat the rest you can do with chocolate blocks to test until it works then once you're happy solder it up. Just have a few spare fuses as it doesn't always work so need to fire some new ones in until you figure it out
