Now I think I know my full list but please let me know if I am missing anything Head gasket Head bolts Cambelt Water pump Oil pump Headgasket Stem seals Crank shaft seal (I think) Inlet gaskets Manifold/turbo gaskets Anything else I will need? I plan to renew these items while I am at it. Fuel filter Fuel line Turbo oil/water feed Ht leads Dizzy Coilpack Starter Alternator Anything else? Should I do pistons rings and get items skimmed while I am at it. Thanks Alex Quote

funny onion Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 When I rebuilt an engine from a bare block I used the following. - full toyota gasket set- full acl bearing set - water pump- oil pump - piston rings - head skimmed and block checked (block didn't need decking)- bores cross hatch honed - cambelt kit- had the block/head acid dipped and washed (would recommend that to get rid of sludge and shit in the oil/water ways) - new coolant hose kit as mine was looking old and didn't want hoses splitting - new plugs/dizzyWasn't cheap!!!! And then had to take her for another remap once the fresh engine was bedded in. The things we do all for a 1.3 hahaha enjoy. Quote
