Does my ep82 starlet gt have a limiter?

Just wonder if anyone knows if the starlet gt ep82 (94 reg) has a limiter on it as when driving through Germany the car wouldn't go past 140 and I still had 2000 rpm to go even when I went down a steepish hill it wouldn't go past it any ideas ??

My old gt hit a limiter when I got to around 135.

you need a speedo converter dude.that will sort it.

140? I thought the limiter is 110mph?

We'll I had it at a 140 so guess the limiter has been taken off then and that's just the top end of it
