Would I need a remap?

Currently running TD04 setup at 1bar, internally gated and mapped on e manage ultimate.

Im switching to a wepr topmount setup, externally gated using the same turbo again. Would it be ok to run at 1bar straight away or would I need to get the map tweaked to suit?

Prob will need a tweek as the manifolds will flow different

yep deffoe need yer map tweeked shouldn't be much though...,i'm gonna have to do the same with mine shortlyb as well

The boost curve will most certainly be different with the external wastegate. Boost will be held more consistantly and closer to if not same as target pressure therefore will be more airflow top end then was before. Best to jus' get checked and small tweak is all that will be required i guess.

And having gone with a external recently I can confirm they are soooo much better than internal
