5e colin
how did you manage to do that ?????? the ring seat is loose ????????
mikey4410
I dont have any pics but the Internal valve is essentially the same as an engine valve and it has a seat that has to be air tight.the valve seat in my wastegate is removable/repalceable. Was really easy to lapp it in and cost me £7 for paste.well worth the 30 mins it takes to ensure that them gases aint escaping and losing you boost
5e colin
how did you guide her true ???? pillar drill ??
mikey4410
U cant do it anything other than dead centre as the valve remains In its body. U never ever lapp a valve in by rotating it one way.it goes both ways one after the other.i think you need to watch a video on youtube on how to lapp a valve in.thats goin to help you not ruin yours. triple j
Put valve on a drill and fire ring in the vice, lap away with paste.
mikey4410
do not do the above ↑↑↑↑↑to lap in a valve u need nothing but hand power and elbow grease. the ring need never be put in a vice as it will miss-shape it to a degree.as I said it can all be done in situ......
