help with dash lights

I have these two lights flash up every now and again and when they do my radio shuts off and my sub. I had the battery and alternator checked and came back fine. Only other thing I can think is a loose cable or something.

the battery light might be an issue with the alternator, to check this turn the car on and put a voltmeter to the battery it should read between 13.9 and 14.5 volts and if it reads any lower your alternator might not be giving enough charge to the battery.

The second light is for the cat temp sensor - just unplug the cat temp senor and it should not come back again.

I have had it tested yesterday mate plus my turbo timer reads the volts and is reading 14 and 12 when power is off. I just can't work out why the sub powers off when it's amp is connected to the battery.

Where do I find it just tried googling it but want to be sure it's the one I need to disconnect.

well check it with a voltmeter when the system is blaring

cat temp sensor is on the decat or cat, its the bottom sensor below the o2 sensor,

Will do. But it happens even if the radio isn't on only comes on when driving around but then some days it won't even come on. Thanks for the help mate

Check the loom plug for the alternator it has 3 wires on it - if they are damaged you could be getting intermittent continuity

Hi mate I unplugged the cat sensor and thought it sorted then today it came back on. I'm going to try this weekend to have a good look over it as it's doing my head in.
