Shane 08 Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 were to buy new drive shafts for glanza v Quote
Gainzy Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 I have a passenger side one for sale pm me Toyota do them for around £500 per side new Quote
aaddzz123 Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 Personally always bought them second hand. Be best off asking someone breaking one. I've never paid more than £40 for a pair for any car. If you absolutely want new joints then just buy the joints and I'd get them from any parts supplier rather than Toyota. If for some reason you need the shaft too I'd still get them from a parts supplier, although for what it's worth I'd just get a second hand pair. Quote
Gainzy Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 £40 is super cheap for 2! They weigh that much be about £15 20 just to post av got one 55 posted Quote
aaddzz123 Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 Not really lol. £40 for a set of driveshafts is the going rate for most cars. Can be posted within the UK for about £10. Use parcel2go.com. Anything under 20kg will be £10-15 depending on what company you go with. Quote
Gainzy Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 Am gunna keep mine if that's the case lol could do with a spare set Quote
Shane 08 Posted September 12, 2014 Author Posted September 12, 2014 so u can get them from say eurocar parts? I didnt think they did them Quote
Gainzy Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 I would imagine if you buy them from anywhere other than Toyota it will be two separate parts the shaft and cv boot joint just ask if you find some but each joint/ spline count will differ so if you have a glanza abs this is the one you needhttp://www.importcarparts.co.uk/parts_info.asp?id=1369&cat=89&sub=1350&sec=0&var=0&dc=&gen=&searchKey= Quote
