Cusco lsd 1.5 help!

Recommended Posts

Just got a cusco lsd box to go in my glanza running 170-200 bhp (approx)

I'm not running silly brake so I don't want to pay £300 for a stage 2 clutch

So I'm thinking of a standard exedy clutch (heard mixed stories about stage 1 so il leave that)

Is there anything else I need to do

Someone said about skimming the plate?

Also what gear oil, will 75-90 do?

Regards

If your getting a new clutch its an idea to skim the flywheel face so it has a fresh surface for the clutch to bed in properly.

If the pennys do stretch to it i would get a paddle clutch just to make things easier if you wanted to go for more power in the future.

Depending on how you drive the car the LSD will put more strain on the clutch also.

I am running a Cusco MZ 1-way diff and its lovely and the oil i use is redline 75w-90s non Slip.

you can only get it in bottles fractionally just under a litre but two bottles will be enough.
