Alan Stevenson96 Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 Hi guys, I have a 1996 Starlet 1.3CD and it seems to idle quite high sometimes at 2000 rpm, but it settles down a bit later on, sometimes it fluctuates between 1 and 2000 rpm, was wondering if anyone has had this before and if so what can be done to fix it ? rwdrev Posted October 4, 2014 Posted October 4, 2014 i cant get me 5e down below 1000rpm, the air screw on the TB is basically in tight. idles at around 2200 when cold. checked everything and cant find any leaks, cable is slack, and the TB flap closes fully. its bloody annoying. when on cold start i can set off without using the go pedal.
