white-gt
ok guys so ive bought a replacment tall block instead of rebuilding mine. its got 62k miles with compression im told of 170psi across the board. im not keen on using an engine flush really, i usually use 5w-40 shell ultra but would i be best to use a very cheap semi synth oil to flush round the engine for say 10 miles, then flush and put decent 5-30 or 5-40 oil in?or would an engine flush be better ? mikey4410
Dont use engine flush unless u accidently filled you car up with yogurt or milk.but seriously don't use the stuff.use some semi for a lil while making sure you have a magnetic sump plug.(keep the magnetic one even after the fully goes in)Then the oil I would use is 5/40 and has to be fully synthetic.
