squeekyduck
Since i wrote of my glanza S i had to get another starlet. This time i went for turbo power!!!Her are some pics the seller sent me:bought it in March 2007 in this rare and unique blue colour. Itâ??s a Fiat blue that you find on the c**ttogetinto!!Here are the sellers pics:When i got her, the first things i done to her were:-romove the tints in the front. -remove all the small stickers.-I put origional mats in.-I put the origional gear knob and gator in.-Changed the thermostat.-service, including putting in the trd leads. Here are the pics of my Glanza and my mates red Twimcam!Current mods:Induction kit (unknown)Racing clutch (unknown)Hks Turbo timerBlack diamond drilled and grooved disks and pads.Lowered 35 mm on apexi springsBee sting arielReiger front and rear splitterPainted blue from glanza silver.Wolfrace alloys (not too sure of the type, but they have to go!!!)Plans for the next 6 months:Clear indicators( being put on monday)New carpet and colour it blue like the new teg R's.CoiloversPanhardFront and rear anti roll barsActuator and fcdNew alloys (maybe white)Trd leads (sitting at home to be fitted)So this is where i am so far with my Glanza. At the moment i am waiting for the weather to get a bit better so i can add my backbox and make her look a bit better than the little pipe it has on her at the moment.(Just found out it has a 2.5 inch cat back system!!) I also fitted the standard rear bumper yesterday after spraying it for less than 20 euro!!! I also got new carpet from a seller on here. Future plans is definatly to get a fmic, and i should hopefully be getting this in the coming month. Enjoy the pics and i will hopefully get interior and engine ones when the weather gets better here. frontmy drilled + grooved brakes!when she was clean!!Just a wee update and to keep ye up to date. Since the scumbags tried to rob the car about 2 weeks ago i went out and bought these few pieces:In the meantime i took part in Toby's group buy and got myself the autobann 88 FMIC. I received the kit just friday gone and i set about putting it on sunday. A major thanks to one of the guys Ian who gave me a loan of his tool set and to Derek for lending me his jigsaw!! All in all it took me about 4 hours to put the kit on. i didnt run into any major troubles at all. The only bad thing about this kit is the removal of the crash bar, but i rang my dad at home and we have some ideas to sort this. the basic plan is to make some brackets and bring the crash bar forward so the FMIC sits behind it just like the wepr.I also have one other fault with the kit, and that is where the pipe on the kit runs right over the manifold and in my opinion defeating the point of having the kit. Have a look for yourself:Anyway i think the car looks better and it should be making a difference, even though i havent drove the car properly yet. enjoy the pics!!!The kit and the lads after the night on the tear!!putting it on (about 2-3 hours through)front bumper before trimmingThe bumper after trimmingthe final result!!i finally got around to doing some of the niggly bits that needed doing. i got my new fogs fitted. i fixed the passenger side lock by smothing over it, it looks well now. i also treated it to some new oil and a filter along with a wash!!! Was thinking about grids. i think they would also suit it or else i was thinking of getting the starlet sr alloys and painting them white.

But I am only using them because this had to happen!!I noticed a load of oil was showing up in the engine bay and when i inspected it there was an oil leak!! But I had no idea where it was so I had to remove the whole engine! Here are some pics; All the oil was on the driver side and was been spread around the engine bay by the belts, so i knew it was probaly the sump. All the gunky oilAnd engine at its final destination!!Car is laid to rest on blocks!!
