Rocketbunny Posted January 24, 2015 Posted January 24, 2015 What's the best way to do this guys? Quote
akyakapotter Posted January 24, 2015 Posted January 24, 2015 Impact gun electric or air best way to do it Quote
AdamB Posted January 24, 2015 Posted January 24, 2015 Aye impact gun for the bolt but it may well be stuck on there, so then get a 3 legged puller to pull it off Quote
Rocketbunny Posted January 25, 2015 Author Posted January 25, 2015 Ain't got an impact gun mate :/ I've put cams in but can't seem to get the belt over the same pulley there's a tensioner but I'm pretty sure I have to take lower belt cover off to access it, can anyone think of an easier way to put the belt on?? FMuscle Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 There's a small cap that lets you loosen the tensionner bolt just above the crank pulley. Quote
Rocketbunny Posted January 25, 2015 Author Posted January 25, 2015 So I don't need to remove the cover mate? Quote
davehart Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 Just use a simple puller set like this: :: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/46Pc-Harmonic-Puller-Set-Crankshaft-Balance-Puller-Gear-Flywheels-Steering-Tool-/140848988888?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item20cb4102d8 No need for air tools. Quote
FMuscle Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 So I don't need to remove the cover mate? Not to loosen the tensioner. Quote
