Dump valve has always been on the car since I bought it. I had to remove the pipe as I needed to replace the clamp on the turbo. So you reckon its the hot pipe leaking where it meets the turbo

If the boost is leaking, easy start won't have any effect as the air will force the spray out.

Better of spraying with washing up liquid mixed with water and watching for bubbles.

So when the car is ticking over it doesn't suck air throught the turbo/inlet pipes/inlet into the engine no? Found many a boost leak this way.

I use the soap method, as you can see the precise point where the boost is leaking from. Works great with any leaks where the air is being blown out.

I dont all that and found the hot pipe was bubbling so I got a gasket sealer but it wasnt that making the noise as I can still hear it. What I have found out is it doesnt do it when I first drive and boost it does it afterwards
