Skinner
Hi all, I recently bought some DD coilovers (drift and drag) but am having issues with ride height on the rear... It basically rides no higher than stock with the thread bottoming out in the lower sleeve, so as low as goes. Has anyone else had these issues or know of anything/one that could help with this? Cheers folks.

Skinner
Hi, yea suppose it would ha, the bottom shows where I need the bottom nut to go to, however that is as far as the bottom sleeve goes to, which results in the top picture when the car is off the jack. Say what ya like, but it ain't low enough ;) I honestly don't think it's right? Don't know I anyone else had the same issues...?
5e colin
ok on my d2 i can go lot lower unscrew and measure the lenght of the housing ( not rod ) ( maybe housing is just to long also the spring should be only hand tight there not allowed to be tensioned so i suggest loosening the 2 lock screws for the spring then hand tighten the top screw til it just touches the spring so no up down movement is there from spring then ad 1/4 turn extra and lock it up ( this will give most sag from spring ) then its only a matter of screwing the bottom bit as far as it can
Skinner
That is what I have done... Have considered cutting the housing but the are gas filled, don't really want to go boom... It almost as if the rid at the top is too long... Considering trying to add an extra inch of thread to put the washer it sits in downwards, then dropping the bottom two nuts to meet the bottom one, as the bottom is as far as it goes with the above result. Or just cut my looses and get new coilovers, and never recommend these, though I've heard good reviews?
