ROTABOOST
Hi all,Stripped my engine yesterday and trying to find out what Pistons it has. It has Scat rods but the Pistons are being awkward I have cleaned the piston and I can't see any marks or etching anywhere on it at all.Anybody know what they are? Phil
wiseco 10cc dish probably. CP/JE all have markings on the underneath. wiseco only have a number on the top which goes after use. Ross pistons im not sure about, but based on price and availiblity id be surprised if these were Arias/sps/ross Phil
ROTABOOST
Cheers Phil, That's why I cleaned the death out of the bottom as I remembered the JE's I put in my v8 were etched underneath. I would have guessed wiseco or wossner as they are popular in the bundle deals with rods etc
Phil
forgot about wossner. Phil
AdamB
Can't quite tell on my phone but are those anti-detonation grooves? There's no off the shelf E series piston that come with those. Do look like Wiseco base though.
_shaun_
Ross Pistons are stamped on the bottom
DevonGT
Definitely not Ross.
ROTABOOST
Wiseco seems to be the likely culprit
