Chief Quimby Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 Took the engine out, now run a 5efte, but the old engine is still running in a friends ca, as stock, no turbo.Only have some pictures. Quote
ashley newbert Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 I'll start the list but i've never done the conversion myself but i think you'll need the following parts from a 4EFTE;How does the 4efte housing fit onto the 4efe block??? - ECU- Oil filter housing- Sump- Exhaust manifold and turbo, decat and exhaust to suit- Injectors and fpr (can't remember if they're the same on the efe to the fte but i assume fte ones are bigger)- Some form of intercooler I'm not sure if the 4efe have a knock sensor but if not they would have the casting for one to be fitted. The fte ecu won't like it if there's no knock sensor signal. Bear in mind that the compression is higher too so don't run silly boost. There's probably loads more but one of the converted lads is better off telling you what else you need. Quote
