SIRIUSFAN2014
Hello everyone, Right my 1996 1.3 CD needs a fair whack spending on it. 4 new tyres, a CV joint (possibly multiple), rear wheel bearing and a kippered battery. Now obviously on a high-value car these issues wouldn't amount to much, but even fixed up the car isn't gonna worth much more than £250. It's got 153k on the clock but is in decent nick and has 9 months MoT. Now my question is, should I scrap it, repair it or sell it like it is? The scrapman only wants to give me 80 quid, and I haven't really got the money to repair it. Selling as is may provide a bit of hassle and I might not get much more than the 80 quid the scrapyard are offering. Don't get me wrong, it's a good car and I'd hate to see it get crushed, but sometimes you just have to be practical - I don't espeically need a car at the minute anyway. Let me know what you think! _shaun_
With 9 months mot on it youd likely find someone wouldBuy it and just fix the little bits on it.
