BurtEP82
Hello all,Query on my hot pipe, coming off a standard ct9. I bought a short route from idworkz before I bought a new fmic kit. The one from idworkz is a larger diameter. Question is, does diameter have and influence on spool time in the same sense as length? All input appreciated.
5T4R7ET N/A
the shorter the intercooler piping the better spool time. the larger diameter will take a tiny amount of spool away but will help when boost it turned up because turbo can flow better. one of the reasons why people get front mount intercooler for starlet is because it will bring down air temps when boosting, which is better for gaining power. the top mount is restrictive and not power efficient plus you have more size options with a front mount and it looks better hope that helps
BurtEP82
Input appreciated, I know about colder = denser = good , but wondered which to fit and go with. I am looking to reach the 200 mark so maybe the idworkz pipe will suit better in the long run. Thanks again pal Ah dammit, missed out the cheesy smile after good, ha
