UKSC Rolling Road day results

Right, anyone who attended the rr day on the 9th Feb (yesterday), post your results up in here.

List your car, what modifications, and your results.

I'll start:

Levin BZG

Mods:

- Magnecor KV85 Ignition Leads

- NGK Iridum Spark Plugs

Max power @ engine - 155.6 bhp @ 7,034 rpm

Max power @ wheels - 109.8 bhp @ 6,963 rpm

Max torque - 124.8 lb/ft @ 5,455 rpm

Mine.

Starlet Glanza V

Mods:

-Apiro air filter

-Blitz Nur Spec backbox (since purchase)

Max power @ engine - 127.4 bhp @ 6,906 rpm

Max power @ wheels - 87.5 bhp @ 6,547 rpm

Max torque - 112.9 lb/ft @ 4,039 rpm

Not bad for a virtually standard engine methinks.

My GT Turbo

Mods:

Japspeed de-cat

Standard exhaust with middle silencer removed & unknown back box

Cone filter

WEPR FMIC

11psi boost

Max power @ engine: 150.9 bhp @ 6,135rpm

Max power @ wheels: 109.3 bhp @ 5,663rpm

Max torque: 136.6 lb/ft @ 5,586rpm

First run got 107.2bhp @ wheels and 148.2bhp @ fly because there was a slight boost leak via my bodged IC pipe to DV hose, and then in the second run the boost went crazy and was all over the place - spiked to 13psi! So didn't get any readings for that, just a wierd looking boost graph that keeps going up and up?! Wierd!

All in all I'm pretty happy, although was hoping for torque to be a bit higher! Getting an autobahn mani fitted next Sat - so that will hopefully make some difference!

Thats a good reading mate, i think you'll get a bit more if you get a nice 2.25" full stainless system like the drager or Nur spec?

bah, really wish I could've put my car on the Rolling Road, slipping clutch and ECU getting used to me changing the FPR setting notwithstanding...damn you Mikey, why didn't you tell me off when I said "I want to sleep more" :angry:

Nah, seriously, is a shame, was hoping you could get your car on there and tested :angry:

However, what I shall do, i hopefully in say, 6 months time will try and sort another rolling road session, hopefully with more cars too

Damn, you foiled my delaying tactic :angry:

(well, actually have no more money atm, but in the future shall do)

Although thinking more along the lines of cone filter per throttle body rather than the stacks/trumpets

(might not get as bigger increases, but theoretically safer)

hey to everyone,

was really nice to meet everyone yesterday and put names to faces and i have to say what a brilliant bunch of people had an excellent time and everyone i met was extreemly friendly!

thanks for a brill day out mikey!

anyway results were.

maximum power wheels: 166.0 bhp @ 6,491 rpm

maximum power engine: 204.9 bhp @ 6,491 rpm

maximum torque: 178.3 lbft @ 5,488 rpm

was running 14.5 psi

im quite pleased

That's well good Dan. Was quite pleased with my results considering my clutch has started to slip on high boost.

1996 GLANZA V TURBO

Mods:

Custom s/s cat-back system

Induction kit

Results:

Max power @ engine: 137.4 bhp @ 6,400rpm

Max power @ wheels: 104.8 bhp @ 6,137rpm

Max torque: 124.0 lb/ft @ 3,390rpm

Boost was 10.5 psi

Good day out, as Dan said nice to meet a good bunch of people.

Didnt get to talk to you much Dan but you car is impressive and that exhaust popping next to us on the motorway was awsome :p

Shame, I wanted to hear it on song though :p
