Guest Enzo
nice, what is hdr then?
RobSR
stands for High Dynamic Range....same image taken 3 times at different exposures and then layered over each other...
Guest Enzo
whats the point in that, do you get alot more detail in the pic?
RobSR
well yeah, there is more detail i would say, and also that it looks alot different, -you can get cool effects with the sky, colours etc...
gaz
there not very good examples of the ultimate effects of it.But nice subtle HDR effect there, nice mate.
gaz
I got some tuts in the photo section i think enzo?
chief
These are examples i did.Because of the time of day you either got detail in the sky or detail in the car - no middle ground. By shooting in raw format just create an exposure for each from the same RAW file and layer them as discussed before and voila......Correctly exposed sky and car together...... gaz
Nah thats cool mate, i got a basic idea of what was going on mate. Its good to show what you done, always helps.
chief
I use photoshop yes. I use RAW format on my camera which means you get a greater level of detail to play with. You just have to sharpen, adjust colour exposure etc as when you shoot in JPEG the camera does it all for you....RAW = Essentially a digital negative.
