Cattanach
You can remove the 2 vac lines!Think they come off the hi/lo boost solenoid iircThen just remove the solenoid aswell unless you've still got standard actuator and using the hi/lo boost setting
dan106
I have removed the hi/lo boost solenoid and the metal pipes, there's a line from the d/v to the inlet and a line from the efi pipe to a metal hose bolted to the cambelt cover, is it a breather or something? The bottom one in the pic
Cattanach
mines just vents to air!Haven't tried removing it yet. Also where did you get the proper purple hose from ?I've got the crappy eBay purple stuff which is faded haha Edited October 20, 2015 by Cattanach
dan106
Find boost junkies on eBay man! It's more expensive but it looks so much better. Ah right so I can just take the line off and leave it open?

dan106
Ill have to have a look at it. What do people do in the winter? Surely the filter gets soaked in the rain?
ChrisLeeBoost
Get a breather filter for the cam cover pipe that came off and just leave the smaller hose off to vent crank as pressure
dan106
Get a breather filter for the cam cover pipe that came off and just leave the smaller hose off to vent crank as pressureI don't know what pipe your talking about as the cam covers already got a breather filter on itAnd the pipe I meant, isn't that the second vacuum line to the actuator? As I'm still running a standard one with two vac lines Edited October 28, 2015 by dan106
Cattanach
Yeah but it only breathes straight back into the efi pipe! There's nowhere for that vacuum line to go if you have an aftermarket actuator with the one port
