When I look at the whole set up (photo below) it makes sense what you're saying StyDoc 72 - the axle should go left after lowering as the fixed point is at the rhs!
Why my one is such a stubborn one and went the opposite way...Hmmm..

I had the alignment checked and there is minimally more of camber at the RHS wheel so maybe I should swap them shocks around (absorber's stud might be slighly bent?) and check how it's all fixed then!
