Hy guys. I have a 1st generation 4EFE stock engine. Im planning on increasing the power and been reading the blogs. Any ideas on the stuff needed?? Am planning on a td04l but would appreciate on your opinions since you guys got more experience.

so your going boosting a G.I very strong engine will hold 12 psi al day long ( im boosted on a gi block )



fit 4efte loom and matching sensors and be done then its just an ad on of the hardware ( turbo kit / exhaust / fmic / clutch fly )

Few different ways to do this. When i did it i fitted these parts, most from a GT.

ECU

Engine ancillary loom with sensors, MAP etc

Injectors

PAS pump

Coil / Ignitor

Distrubitor and uprated leads

Oil filter housing

Sump modded, or used a turbo sump & pickup

3 puk clutch kit

FMIC

Zisco turbo kit

Cant think of anything else but it was very straight forward

So most the stuff are from the ep82 gt. What about the braking system and gearbox,, currently am on a 4speed. I think i can get the fte looms here.

Youd be better off with a turbo 5speed, C52 and C56 are the gearbox codes.

The GT turbo brakes arent that great, especially the rear, id just leave drums on the back, and get uprated front brakes.

You dont actually need to go changing all the looms, i swapped in a GT dash with loom because i wanted the dials.

The only loom thats really needed is the engine ancillary loom, this plugs into the ecu, goes through the bulkhead, plugs into the starter, alternator, injectors, map sensor, tps etc. and plugs into the existing ep8* fusebox in the engine bay.

Hy guys. Unfortunately its tough to get these parts in Kenya so il have to import some. And my clutch master cylinder is giving me problems again and i had replaced last month. Any ideas why this would happen???

Yes it does. And a light keeps getting on and off especialy when am in third or 4th. The cat converter. Unfortunaltely i dont knw how to clean it. Went to the exhaust guys and they said its found under the manifold.
