kbond
I'm running levin twin pots atm but will soon be getting st202 carriers to fit a bigger disc, but what pads are people running with this setupI plan on doing lots of track days in the car once done and is barely used on the road, I assume il need st202 pads but can only find ebc yellows which I have heard fade quite quicklyI can't seem to find pads such as ds2500 for this setup so what do people run?Cheers Keiran
Keri-WMS
If you're sure which pad shape/type you need I could have a look at what compounds I can supply it in?
morgey
I had the same issue finding pads to suit my levin twinpots, you'll still be using levin pads with the st202 carriers! From what i can work out mr2 turbo twinpots are the same pad and theres a much bigger selection for them. morgey
I didnt have the time to do my research before fitting mine as my old brakes were literally falling apart. I opted for yellowstuff as mines only a daily, theyve been on the car just shy of a year and are spot on for this, its a 1120kg corolla, so on a starlet you shouldnt get any issues. But if you started doing track work then id personally opt for something else
kbond
I plan on doing as many track days as I can once done so will need something that isn't gonna fade after a few laps
AdamB
Carbone Lorraine if you can get them for that caliper. Nothing even comes close to their performance.
Ep82Ash
Carbone Lorraine if you can get them for that caliper. Nothing even comes close to their performance.I used to have these on my fireblade and agree on the performance but I didn't know you could get them for cars.
kbond
Carbone Lorraine if you can get them for that caliper. Nothing even comes close to their performance. I don't believe they do them for this set up as far as I'm aware
AdamB
Try Carbotech then mate. I'm sure you can send backing plates and they will line them with their friction material.
