akyakapotter
You could always put a smidgen of silicone sealer on there aswell if you wanted every little helps. Cheers nick.
funny onion
If it can't be fixed with sump sealer is it even worth fixing? hahaha. But yeah as nick says, a wee bit of sealant or a wee bit of engine oil to help the o ring seat properly
gorganl2000
i'd also properly clean all surfaces of oil/grease before reassembling....to get a proper seal

sosolid
So quick question. im guessing its easier to get to the seal from the bottom?
funny onion
I think the seal actually sit on the dip stick tube itself and you just slide the tube back in? someone correct me if I'm wrong
akyakapotter
yep sits on the dipstick tube and the tube goes into the block. cheers nick.
