It's done 91000 km and I think it was a good price, I've never imported a car before so was a bit nervous but nikkyo were brilliant with updates etc would defiantly use them again

Anyway back to the green one, the clutch developed a slight judder so I chucked in a new exedy from eurocar parts bargain at £65 with discount and only took an afternoon to do on my driveway and feels much better to drive now

I'm not too fond of the flush rear bumper and boot it's just not to my taste so if anyone has a silver boot and bumper they wanna swap I'm open to it

Thought I'd get another as this sr was too cheap to pass up, not sure if it's anyone's previous on here but it needs a fair bit of work. Plans are to restore it back to original with small mods mainly to the handling

Whilst in prep I treated it to a blitz blow off valve, a set of magnecore kv85s and some roose coolant hoses

I thought I'd throw it straight in for mot just to see what it needed, needless to say it failed on no rear fog lamp and I knew all four tyres were buggered but the offside rear caliper was doing nothing. Decided to bleed brakes and hey no fluid out of the lazy caliper so cracked open the line at the flexi and still nothing, after more investigation discovered the abs pump was buggered so in the bin it went with a td abs removal kit and now all good

Thought I'd better get a project thread going, I found a tidy looking 98 spec v in black on a jap export site (nikkyo exports) so mailed a sales advisor there and the deal was done £1642 all in delivered to Liverpool docks. However when I arrived at the port to pick it up it wasn't as clean as I'd hoped for, the paint on the roof bonnet and wings was wasted. Mechanically it seemed ok and as I work in a restoration body shop I can put it right....... hopefully

Oh also added glanza calipers with ebc combi disks and green stuff pads

Need to get some more pics up, it's had a replacement drivers door, a TTE rep front splitter, a Yaris TTE back box and a tegiwa alloy radiator. Also added central locking and electric windows, maybe up for sale soon as I've just imported a 98 spec glanza and impulsed bought an sr that needs work

Any Better pics of the back box like the other end, the mounting strap looks broken also

As per title, not bothered about window switch got money waiting

anybody done this or know somebody who has ? What costs are involved tax and vat etc ?

Got one in silver no rot small couple of dents easily fixable but your a long way from me
