i would more into the maxspeeding rods but only way of getting them is buy posting overseas, the money id pay on import duty and other fees will probably be half the amount i pay for the rods lol!!

you make a good point dude, I found a package deal for wossner pistons with the PEC rods for fairly cheap so i was leaning more over to that direction

i guess so, I just cant afford to have a set of rods go on me Im going to be skint just buying the bits, lucky im rebuilding the engine myself, got all the machine work covered where i have an engineering workshop in my garage so my budget is a little tight, i didnt plan on going forged, only due to my pistons going bye bye

thats interesting, how much wider are they then if they catch? surely they should be designed so they dont? O_o

after seeing that picture its scaring me haha how much boost is over boosting though? i run a bar boost on ct9, doesnt creep

whats the difference? cant you make the oem pins fit? found some wossners for £400 brand new and thought itd be a shame not to buy them -

having a look at wossner pistons, says they use a floating gudgeon pin that can only be used with the PEC or wossner rods, so how have the standard rods been used before? -

to settle this conversation, finally got round to getting the head off, gasket was fine, sump off, 3 cracked pistons

yeah its been glued to fuck :/ just curious in case i damaged it while something else was bolted up, cheers buddy ill try it now

finally got round to getting my engine apart today, took all the bolts out from the sump, sure theres like 10 or something, the thing wont budge, how the hell do i get it off? or am i doing it wrong lol.....
