its never done it before though, and i can redline every gear (not that i do ) full boost etc and it doesnt come on, i could just be cruising off the boost and itll randomly come on, then disappear when i turn the car off, then on again?

bump!! apparently my local garage cant plug the car in due to not having an OBD port? how am i meant to know what my eml is coming on for?!

what would happen then? its been in there for a few years, runs a bit rich, nothings changed, but why would the light come on? not yet it only happened today, im going to try getting it plugged in during the week at some point!

right ive just wired up my speed limit defencer, went for a quick test to make sure it works and it does, car doesnt run any differently in the slightest, everything smooth as always, when i booted it down the motorway my engine management light came on, i pulled over in the lay by, checked my oil and was real low (changing it today) when i turned my ignition back on, the light was gone, then when i booted it again it came on? i have FCD fitted but its never done this before

so yeah, as the title says, need a speedo converter from kmh to mph, orrrrr an SLD type 1, im not very good with electronics and wiring so would rather have the speedo cable lol!! but show us what ya have!

I was thinking of replacing the lambda as the wire where it joins into the plug is a bit bent and twisted, small bit of the insulator on the wire has a bit missing too, how would i know if the map or coolant sensors arent working?

i havnt got a fuel pressure guage dude, i know someone who has and ive asked to borrow it but just my luck he's leant it to his mate so god knows when ill get hold of it!

yeah i have one, screwing it in clockwise turns the pressure up right? and anti-clock turns it down?

right so my car is running rich as hell right now, how do i lean out the mixture more? guzzle guzzle guzzle the starbo goes

update!!! unplugged my actuator from the boost controller, boosted straight to a bar first pull, i was like wutttt, so yeah im guessing its the avcr thats at fault, what exactly would be at fault? solenoid valve?

my headlights stopped working not long ago and my main beam too, under the steering wheel the main plug about 40mm wide has a wire for the lights and mine had corroded and burnt a little but sorted that and now they work my indicators stopped working too but that was because i didnt replug my hazard light switch properly
