big update, i changed my fuel filter back to my old one out of curiosity, guess what? it bloody fixed it. so much for "oe spec " fuel filters.

could it possibly be the wire in.the ecu plug.cause i had to reconnect it when i took out my fuel.cut defender, dodgy connection? or the map sensor itself?

thats what i also said lol it runs fine up to 8 psi then suddenly hits 13s! definitely not good!

i explained in the above comments a tried unplugging it and.it made no.change. plus on cold startup it shouldnt lean out that quick,.it used to take much longer to lean out and that was when the fuelling was spot on

also on.cold startup it fuels in the 10s for about 5 seconds then.within 30 seconds its in the 14s, definitely not right

Ive put my old one back on cause i remember that one used to overfuel the car like mad but that might be dodgy aswell, it made mo difference when i unplugged it either, would it affect iit even at the top of the revs and boost?

I have a genuine sard running stock fuel pressure, and even with more fuel pressure it still runs shit Yes stock ecu

Right this is getting beyond me, ive put spanking new injectors and fuel pump in, have no exhaust ir turbo leaks, no vacc pipes have come off so i can see, ill double check underneath the car tomorrow, its lean when idling and runs lumpy all the time its off boost, but when boosting up to 8 psi it fuels bang on but anything over it goes off the scale, pleeeease what am i doing wrong????!

Theyve made no difference :/ theyre a lot quieter but the fuelling is shit and the car runs lean as fuck up top of the revs/boost i dont know what the hell is happening

Quick update, no leaks from any.exhaust flanges, is there any possibilty the lambda sensor.could be responsible for this? I unplugged it and it made no difference at All. Car is lumpy at low revs but once im on.boost it picks up and fuels fine BUT once im on WOT it runs lean on my wideband, yet to.change my noisy as fuck injectors, what you guys think?

People say you have to take stuff like the radiator etc out to make room but i took my battery out and just poured it straight from the bottle with no mess lol the oil is quite thick so when you tip the bottle you have a few seconds til it comes out which is good

Hahaha i actually said these exact words to someone last year for a joke, i mustve cursed myself cause the week after , my ringlands went haha

The oil itself was just castrol 75w90 universal from halfords too, stuff is in a green bottke with a yellow sticker. box took something like 2.3 or 2.4 litres, just fill it on level surface and stop filling when it comes out the leveller hole (just incase you didnt know)

I bought it for my engine, make sure you get the engine treatment box its £21 at halfords, its a 250ml bottle, with the gearbox you use 5% ratio to your oil so around 15ml, its minimal but it works for the engine you need 170ml seeing as its a 1.3l

Post this in the engine section of the techbase im sure someone will be able to tell you

Halfords do this loctite sealant and its real good, its a black oil resistant gasket maker, its good but getting the sump off after youve sealed it is a bitch, just make sure you dont have to take it off again

I just changed mine, judging by the colour of the old stuff it hadnt been changed for a while lol mine used to crunch a bit when id change from 1st to 2nd if i had my foot flat, since putting new oil and a touch of zx1 in there its stupidly smooth and doesnt crunch

I havent fitted the injectors yet im just going to do one thing at a time and gradually progress, its pissing down tomorrow so will fit them this weekend so will let you know how i get on
