Really? How would it ruin my engine?

The td04 i have has a lot of shaft play,.and i mean a lot haha doesnt smoke or anything. But theres a strange ticking thats only on idle or under acceleration but as soon as i start spooling it disappears (or quietens) hard to tell cause the turbo is loud lol its got a lot worse lately. It isnt an engine knock, jist.am annoying LOUD persistant tapping. And my manifold is no longer cracked

yes they do, mk1 gt is an ep82. So is the mk2 and mk3, as i did put ep82 in brackets too.
