turbo newbie

I had loads of problems with the bodyshop and instead of enjoying it i just had hassel. And the b18c engine was expensive to run ive just bought a house and i need somthing a little more cost effective to run and fun to drive have a few plans with the glanza but its gorgous as it is Adrain must be proud of it Andrew

The car will be going to a very loving home indeed the las car i owned was in last months banzai an eg fronted delsol it was my pride and joy and was never thrashed it was aleays warmed up before driving and let to cool down before switching off. it went back to the bodyshop 3 times before i excepted it back. Im booking my train ride up tonight and looking forward to owning my first turbo car Andrew

Ive just got off the phone to Adrain and ill be hopefully going up to see him tuesday to have a look at his motor

Im not to sure i think its just the drivers side one paul is sending me a pic tonight bodyshop said it would be around£300 £500 depending how bad it is and if the do pattened parts. plus its on 76,0000 miles so im guessing the turbo would be ready for a refurb its running 12psi

Did you remove the brake fluid cap when pushing the pistons in and when you bleed the brakes you did the one furthest away from the thingy carnt rember the dame name utter mind block

Are rusty archs common on glanza's??? and if they have one should i not touch it with a stinky stick???? does anybody know if there are replacement archs or is it a rear quarter panel job??? Any help would be great Cheers Andrew

After being messed around by friend with his starlet ive washed my hands with him Ive looked inthe cars for sale section and theres a nice silver glanza v for £5000 does anybody know if this car is still for sale members name is glanzav ?? engine bay looks mint! Or does anybody know of anybody who is selling one that is modded,i pref black/silver around 60,000 miles samcos,fmic lowered would be nice two Any help would be great. Also ive seen some on pisto heads but they need importing anybody been down this road ?what does it involve?? Cheers Andrew

Yeah sure buddy im selling because the fuel consumption is pants i had a b18c (integra type r) engine fitted and it chows through my wallet faster than pimps whore!!! just into my first house and somthing thats a little more easy on my wallet tax,insurance,petrol and its prob just as nippy as my honda. With jap fest looming any surggestions on nice engine modds would be great looking foe a front mounted intercooler,some clear indicators a new blow off valve and anything that anyone can surggest????

Thanks for all the nice comments guys. As far as im aware the car is sat on tein coilovers and 15" tsw's (yuk) have my eye on some rotas already the car is silver so im thinking gun metal wheels. As soon as i get the car ill take some pics and you can all point me in the right direction.

Hi my names Andrew im 26 and im in the process of selling my Honda DelSol which was featured in this months banzai and i was also a member of delsoluk . I have a friend who is selling me his N reg Glanza v it has 100,000 on the clock but the engine has been rebuilt and the turbo has been removed to have turbo seals fitted but im not sure what the engine is as if looked through your web site and theres quite a few engines.
