  1. There isn't a short answer to the FB vs Forum battle.

In my mind there has to be some form of integration with a particular FB Group, so when a person posts a question on FB it is posted to a forum and vice versa. A reply to the FB post adds a reply to the forum, a reply on the forum adds a comment to the FB post.

I'm not even sure that's technically possible?

I HATE Facebook as a platform for car discussion, it just doesn't work. Good luck finding a post you made a couple of years ago, let alone someone elses, for example. People no longer retain information, they just ask the same stupid questions, over and over.

    On

    Head.

Facebook/instagram for the latest and greatest bit of stuff but it's fleeting, passing and nowhere really to store information.

Forums are ideal for storing information -

K20a is the bible for hondas

Toyotagtturbo arguably was the bible for starlets until owner/search function both packed in.

That's what ukso should be aiming for if they want to stay useful, embrace the information vault model.

A starlet info hub manned by helpful responsive folk. You don't have to answer the same question but merely link relevant threads or posts to provide 'how to' or answer 'why is my...' type questions.

Competing with Facebook is impossible, being different is the key.

Talking garbage on here constantly and desiring traffic isn't the way imo.

    Think Long term relevance.

  2. Hi Phil

I've not seen limitations, I am running fuel lines internally in braided PTFE and put a non return on the breather pipe.

Hope I'm not missing something, I will have to check the MSA book again.

P.S I saw your old car the other week at Harewood, look well and was going well.

If you don't have unto use the original tank I've pm'd you the few thoughts on the race fuel cell.

Driiftie's offer maybe something to consider.

  3. The injectors are way down in price now though not too concerned about selling them as they are very useful when opened up to 800cc

The two sets of wheels are More than reasonable Money (one set I'm virtually giving away as need a refurb and reps) other set are genuinely rare and only 500ono but happy to sell via Facebook

No issue with the mods or the decision at all, just didn't realise or understand why 👌

No hassle at all, don't wanna leave the forum now the ep82 is sold and have anyone thinking it was cause the forsale posts were locked lol

I guess that's all I was logging back in to bump so apologies for the repetitive bumping!

    Peace out

  4. Car is now sold.

Still have alloys/LSD/ecu/injectors/big brake kit or two to shift in before I'm completely out of the starlet game.

But it was some fun for sure.

Thanks to everyone and congrats to the big contributors - you brother guy home a championship (no matter how small it is lol)
