  1. Don't normally review things , although expensive I flushed the gearbox oil out at 1000 miles and filled up with the above , it's amazing stuff drives much better and a lot smother 10/10 ... Smoother
  2. Yeah I've thrown a lot of money into my car as have most other people so there would never been any point in selling the car. That goes really well by the way especially when you consider the Evo is 4wd you already have a massive disadvantage. Nice driving
  3. Reference fast street car vs track ... Not sure , you can't push as hard as you could on a track but over 400 bhp and I do think you could quite easily go through gear boxes and shafts as it would be co stan not short blips. I will say tho that race tech have build a very solid car. Everything has limits tho
  4. Completely agree , just haven't had time for the track, I don't street race I just have a play now and again, nothing wreckless. I do prefer it on the Lower setting, you can throw it around more, I do think 350-400+ plus is far to much to be honest but the way it's set up you can put it down and not smoke the tyres cause off the boost control. The only think I love about the higher setting is that it accelerates hard and feels like 2 nd gear even in 4th and 5th :-)
  5. Out of all of them the seat Ibiza was the quickest, quite impressed, although the glanza is 350 kgs better off it did go well
  6. I would agree with that, it is easier to drive and more fun on the Lower setting of 300 bhp. The top setting does put a smile on your face tho. Tricky one:-)

  8. Cheers Ollieh 17, there are some decent people on here. I'll let the kids vent there rage on somebody they don't know. If that works for them then carry on ha ha!
  9. When do you get yours back? how come you went down the 1.8 route, looked tidy in the race tech garage when i saw it back in Nov.
  10. Daniel G , The car is set up perfect for road, the boost is very consistent all through the rev range. The great thing about the car is the boost control by gear, probably the best advice ever taken by a tuner. Saved tyres, gearbox and drive shafts :-) Never tracked this car but would love to see what it could do down Santa pod and then a race track when I get the time.
  11. No intention what's so ever to brag. I find it fascinating when cars go up against each other win , lose or draw doesn't bother me , just appreciate cars and other manufacturers vehicles. The A38 isn't a new things it's been going on for over 10 years and is always full of police which is a good thing. As discussed I do like to cruise out and watch other cars and see what other people have , admire the effort put into the vehicles. Just for reference , I have no points , no claims and don't intend on dying any day soon, I put the post up merely for educational purposes and no offence t
  12. Sorry, I thought Ricky had put the spec up , will get it up a.s.a.p Ps socks.... I asked Ricky what you were like as a driver ... He said aggressive :-) then I saw your videos and felt sorry for your car. Lmfao. I heard you did a gearbox in a weekend???? Pimp. The A38 is the place, near bassets pole. You can get anywhere between 200-300 cars down there on Tuesday's , Thursdays and Sundays. More bikes on a Tuesday. At least 9 miles of dual carriage way. To be honest I enjoy going up there just to watch most of the time. You think your cars quick until you meet a 900 bhp supra or an Ult

  21. I'm hoping for 400bhp, its at race tech, Just want it back now, I've been waiting a year and to be honest I have lost interest ;-( I'm sure that will change when I get it back ;-). I've never used TD but I have had numerous conversations with the guy there and he seems a very genuine guy. I know a lot of people who have used TD and the feedback is good. The most fun I have had in the last year is driving my 69 bhp diesel beast (Work car). I got the stop watch out..... it did 0-60 is 14.8 seconds and it couldn't make it to 100 mph but got to 80mph in about 19 seconds. ;-) Must admit
  22. 5E all the way, had A few 4E's but the 5E runs really well off boost. Personal preference more Torque and easier to drive. ;-)
  23. ill take the block, is it un modified? regards marc 07445 297238
