pics from the final build stages. sorry about the poor quality of my pics... gash camera phone :oops: Lapping (re-grinding) the valves, kind of before and after Before and after again Head on and torqued, cams fitted Cam cover and inlet manifold on - sump, block, head, cam cover and inlet mani painted with high temp paint so next step while waiting on other parts is to remove the non turbo engine from the car, this one exciting stuff, watch this space ;)

are the valve clearances not hydraulic?? hence why it has buckets under the cam lobe. there is no adjustment there unlike an engine with rockers!?! and if the part number is the same then...........

the old one was built in summer 05! wow that is a while ago... im not sure what route to take with it as the old one looked good with the Glanza kit but i'm kinda thinking colour change to make it different. decisions. progress will be slower than the last time as i had a complete GT to swap everything over when i sold that one i went on to a cheap civic but following that was another civic, s13, brand new ibiza 20vt, gtir, glanza, wrx wagon, primera, civic and then my current primera gt

Alright guys, some of you's may remember my old conversion.. well i bought this last month last weekend seen the purchase of several parts most important being the 4EFTE along with that was then the fun commenced last week timing stripped and cams out ready for taking the head off head off quick clean to make sure all is good before going further and finally pistons out ready for ring replacement lovely complete engine gasket set (CHA-CHING ) just waiting on the big ends as i had to identify which type were req'd once stripped

Im carrying out a turbo conversion on my N/A EP91 and have bought a Glanza dash cluster for it. What wires are needing swapped or added in order to get it all working? (tach, boost lights etc etc) is it the same as the paseo/sr how to's??

i called my local dealer today about these only to get a phonecall back saying £26 per side. WTF? it was for complete units! i said just lenses only to be told ye cant get them..... if you dont mind mate whats the part numbers? so i can prove a point

got this a few weeks back! always loved scoob's but felt they're a little common so opted for a different look... 1997 (P) Ver3 WRX wagon, fresh import with only 78k. Only mods are 17" OZ wheels, suspension and a back box future mods prob just a turbo back exhaust and filter to keep it semi sensible hehe
