ive just built a new 5e with -10cc pistons 0.5mm gasket and both head and block have been skimed good news its higher compression ratio without loosing squish. bad news is its now an interference engine should the belt ever snap

What turbo will you be running? I have built a the same 5e only with some speedvison cams.

For the sake of £30 odd when making the boards it would of saved people a lot of hassle to have included them on the board.

Maybe in the next revision if there ever is one.

Is there no onboard map sensor?

How easy will it be to convert it to a cop setup? It will have to be a wasted spark setup?

I briefly seen antilag mentioned either here or facebook. Will this be a feature? If so how will this run or will we need additional wiring/valves

Will this be able to run a boost solenoid through the standard wiring?

Will the factory hi/low boost button be used as a digital input?

If I want to use a variable tps can you provide some wiring diagrams?

As far as I can see 3rd seems to be our problem in these boxes so full power will only be run in the high rpm of 4th and 5th.

The car needs to be kept driveable as I will be using it as my daily most of the year.

I'll be running a gtx2871 and I'm hoping to really push it on to around 1.8 bar or so.

The cams are 270/280 degree intake exhaust with 8.7mm lift.

Engine is now in and running, slight oil leek on the belt side but that's handy fixed thankfully.

Turbo is a bit on the big side but hopefully the 0.5mm headgasket will help spool it.

Same spec as Phil's, they are the latest speedvison's.

Got the engine in and running today, cams sound good. Just need to get a oil feed and return for my turbo made up and I'll be ready for a Base map.

So after my engine went back in April i have finally got the 5e built. The plan is to finish off fitting it tomorrow and start to run it in.

I love what you are doing with this. Everything seems to be done to such a high standard.

Bolt on downpipe / side exits

3" cold side pipes.

Trap door baffled sumps

Alot of people have had to get custom made cold side pipes as mentioned and theres a few people on the tracks that could be doing with the baffled sumps.
