My engine temp gauge is staying in the middle though? so engine temp seems ok? I will order knock sensor today. I am not sure how they set the timing. I left it with a garage and they set it.

Yep reset it and EML light came straight on after 2.5k revs. Still coming up with knock sensor. Well when I turn car off and turbo timer counts down it's normally from 50 seconds (depending on how I drive) but just drove it home (didn't go in boost that much) and it was like 2 mins so it's like the turbo may be working harder? Does that make sense? Do you think it's in safe mode?

Update - had timing checked today... It was so far out they couldn't even see what it was set to! They set it to 10 BTDC which is what I thought it should be set at... Runs like a piece of shit. Have lost all power but seems like turbo may be working even harder as my turbo timer is quite higher everytime. Someone said take knock sensor out just until I get it sorted... What would people suggest? Is it safe to drive? Obviously japfest is next weekend and I don't know if I should even be driving my car that far Would people say this is because of knock sensor / wiring? Thanks guys Kate x

I'm confused as the company it's getting checked by asked me what it should be and when I said 10 he then said that would be for the standard glanza not with all the mods?

I know on the link it says timing should be 10 but what should it be with mods?

Oh mine was a huge knock but now I know why... The intercooler is literally about to fall out lol!

Lol found out what it is.... My intercooler is hanging off. Resting on my front bumper and held on by one bracket... Defo getting it sorted this weekend!

I can't see anything obvious and if it was cv joints it would be more clicky than a knock wouldn't it? Also forgot to add this happens more when pulling away in first slowly

Hi I'm hearing a really horrid knock coming from my engine / drivers side wheel arch, it's weird as sometimes you hear it coming from the engine area other times you hear it from the drivers wheelarch... Is there a common problem with maybe bushes going or links etc? I feel / hear other noises but I can't explain that over here. I've checked my wheel bearings and there isn't much play so I don't think it's that. Any ideas?

Code 52... Knock sensor or ECU! Hopefully this is why my power is down?

Yeah I need to get some gauges as I only have the gizzmo one. It seems to hold boost fine. BUT I did notice the previous owner (one of) took the engine light out so I checked for codes and it's come up with code 52... Knock sensor or ECU! Grrr

The guys at the dyno set actuator and I can't remember what it was set at lol!! I have only got the gizzmo controller gauge It's getting all a but technical for me now lol I am pretty sure all pipes are going to correct place.

I have a gizzmo boost controller and running is at .87 at the mo, anything more it just doesn't go any quicker. Something is holding it back x

Hi... I am trying to sort a few things for my MOT next month and noticed previous owner has kindly removed the ABS light as that stays on all the time... Is there any reason why this would be? I can't even budge the sensors to clean them up or anything they are totally stuck and am worried of breaking them. Is there any common problem with the light being on? Thanks

Thought I'd update my thread here.... It's been another expensive month or so. I bought a Zisco manifold Also got a short route pipe which it almost there I just need to find a pipe to go from there straight to intercooler as the pipe is sticking right out of the bottom and scraping lol My JAM ECU ... And finally I painted the calipers ! Before.... After... Was hoping to get around 180- 200bhp with the mods I have now but as per usual something is holding it back and and only making 127 at the wheels and 154 at fly. So got to get whatever it is sorted will get there eventually.
