I am going to clean my ICV this weekend bu if that doesnt fix the problem I am going to need one.... has anyone got one?? x

Found out what the prob is... Something to do with idle control valve. When I unplug this wire the problem stops... Does this mean I need a new icv or is there a problem with say the wiring or something??

Started my car up after work today (started fine) but was quite high on idle (just under 2k revs) but that's always been the case with my car, after about 30 secs of sitting there the idle was bouncing BIG time. I turned the ignition off so it was just letting the turbo timer run and it carried on bouncing but obv the Rev limiter wasn't doing anything as it was "off". Once I started driving it and 2-3 mins later it was back to normal and idleling absolutely fine and hasn't done it since. What do people think this could be. Looks good. I have had the exact same problem with my car overfuelling and I bought a JAM ECU and its still overfuelling. I am about to fit a SARD FPR and hoping that will help a little (so the tuning company I go to seem to think) if not I really dont know what to do. Bet that was a ball ache to find out where your dodgy wire was from ECU though? I am wondering if I have a similar thing.

This may be a really stupid question but I have just received my sard FPR from nengun.... It hasn't got the gauge with it or the piping.... Is this normal? I bought a FPR from tuning dev before and it came with everything but just was utter dog shit lol! Just thought I'd ask before ordering a gauge etc for it x

There is no play from wheel bearings. Defo not cv joint noise. The noise sounds like wheel bearings but there is no play so it's a strange one. I may just change the wheel bearing the eliminate that. If it's not that if say the bearing from drive shaft. We will see x

Yeah I think so or the bearing? I'm confused and getting pissed off as I don't know what actually needs changing lol!

Hey So looks like I need a new passenger side drive shaft... I work for a car parts company but have a feeling we don't stock this but I was just wondering if anyone knows roughly how much one will be? I'll get quotes tomorrow anyway but wanted a rough idea before then Thanks Katy

Hi, So I have decided I want gauges to monitor oil pressure, oil temperature, boost and possibly water temperature. You guys have told me it's best to go for electrical type gauges but now I am stuck on what extra hardware I need to order to get them all plumbed in? Do gauges come with sandwich plate ect (if I need them). If someone could tell me what I will need to plumb each type of gauge in that would be great and also a link to some kind of how to would be brilliant. I found a duel Racetech gauge which showed both oil pressure and temperature but I think it was mechanical does anyone kno

Hey. Unfortunately these aren't crappy tyres put the front on axle stands and put it in second whilst someone had a look at the tyres and they were all bulgy ill order some new fronts tonight but was just wondering if anyone had ever had this prob. Only had the tyres about a year x
