Hi I recently took over my wife's 1998 reflet 3 door. She bought it as a japan import in 2003 and was her daily workhorse since. It currently runs a 1n. I am upgrading her, starting from the interior. So far, I swapped glanza front seats, door cards and power windows and changed plastic bits from light un dark gray, those which I could find. Next in line is to finish off the rest of interior plastics, install central locking, glanza or Sr cluster and power mirrors Once interior Is sorted, will proceed to tidy the bodywork from 10 years of daily use, most notably the bumpers and the dent ri

I have a reflet, ie a Japan import cheapest spec which I am upgrading. Want to swap a glanza cluster, but from what I read here, is a sportif one easier to fit? Imp thing for me is uIau Iu got a rev counter. Will consider both options

Tried to fit glanza seats in my reflet, but rails seemed somehow shorter than the reflet standard seat rails. I found it strange since such swaps are common here

Euro spec starlet? Here, almost all 4th gen starlets are Japan imports. Mine is one. Engines were either 4efte or lazy, but highly reliable 1n. Mine has the latter. Eventually will swap a 5efe, but I'n starting my upgrade from the interior

Glanza seats are not as bad as some of you are arguing. I'm having a pair swapped next week. Will complement the door cards I fitted earlier this month. My problems is finding rear seat. Many importers only import half cuts.

Are there split rear seatbacks for 4th generation starlet or glanza?

She presently is a manual trans. I agree with your point. But auto is great in the clogged roads of this island If I wanted to keep it manual, I would have gone for a 4 efte

Hi I took over my wife's np90 ten years after she bought it as a fresh Japan import. Odometer stopped at 49,999 km after 2 years It has been her daily workhorse since and for the part 3 years also performed kid ferrying duties. They have since been transferred to the astra h estate. So now I am using her as a semi-daily when my bike is not adequate. Engine wise, I plan a 5efe with an auto trans. Is it a straight swap or are other bits and pieces necessary? Need your advice with this.
