  1. am more interested in a black 4 spoke with leather; but thanks anyways
  2. Here's my sunday family ride. Its an 86 1st gen Camry. had 153000km, fully loaded hardly added 2000 to that in 2yrs I owned it. Its the only example we have. oddly enough its LHD. The 1st gen was not officially imported here. In case you were wondering where I got my user name from; here it is
  3. before and after interior pics almost done; just need steering wheel and rear seat to complete interior upgrade
  4. I'm after a standard glanza wheel
  5. what wheel have you got on atm?
  6. got one small curiosity? how much does a stock 4efte sell over there?
  7. lovely front end. got an astra wagon in the family too? they have a habit to break down!
  8. saw this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TOYOTA-DOUBLE-DIN-SIZE-CD-RADIO-CASSETTE-IN-GOOD-ORDER-/221338105888?pt=UK_In_Car_Technology&hash=item3388c77820 and also liked this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TOYOTA-COROLLA-T-SPIRIT-RADIO-CD-PLAYER-W58802-86120-02260-TO-FIT-2002-TO-2007-/331086675150?pt=UK_In_Car_Technology&hash=item4d164dbcce ... ...and http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TOYOTA-CD-PLAYER-MR2-CELICA-RAV-4-LAND-CRUISER-AVENSIS-DOUBLE-DIN-FREE-POSTAGE-/321265217360?pt=UK_In_Car_Technology&hash=item4acce62f50 looks more 'periodically correct' and oem-ish
  9. Hi steve; we think very much in the same way. I'm taking more or less the same route in upgrading my reflet-using factory options as far as possible
  10. too 'flashy' and will jar with the rest of interior. sorry.
  11. My Kenwood radio-cd decided to call it a day after more than 10 years of loyal service. As a replacement, I would prefer a factory double din unit from the era(late 90s and early 00s). I'm not fussy about features; as I did in other things on the car, I want to upgrade using oem items as far as possible. Do all double din units(which are not 'built in' the facade) fit? While at it, I bought a factory parcel shelf and would like a set of on-shelf speakers so I wouldn't ruin it. Had in mind carrozzeria speakers(since they were factory options on japanese cars of the era), but they are quite expensive if and when you find a pair.
  12. me too
  13. that's cool, if you find one of course. they must cost a fortune. I'm also liking the wheels of the silver car to the right. Aftermarket or factory option?
  14. how does a remix front look like?
  15. wanted oem glanza rear bumper and roof spoiler. wont mind scuffs and scratches as they have to be repainted in white, but no cracks pls. Pls quote incl. delivery to Purfleet, Essex
  16. its an NA bonnet fitted with a glanza scoop. bought it like that and I can say whoever did it did a very good job at it
  17. not like here; 1NT's are swapped in practically all kinds of small sized cars, not only starlets and tercels; even in 80s 3series bmw's!
  18. we're full of them here. and they're really slow. But great if you're after fuel economy and not bothered by performance.
  19. note new look front end. The flash made a good job in covering the scratches and scuffs on the front bumper. Before and after pics of interior up soon
  20. thought about that. But I prefer a petrol setup. have more options plus sounds better
  21. it will be, eventually
