I can tell you from personal experience; I will never forgive myself for selling my 1969 MS55 sedan after 3years of work and several hundred euro down the line when all it needed was some minor stuff like carb tuning, braking adjustment and some little stuff in the interior. Truth be said, I had a newborn at the time and of course I had no time for it But if i had some patience, I could have completed it in due course!

Bought a carat rear bumper after sourcing tailamps. Now want to modify front bumper by placing adheisive moulding of same thickness (to match that of rear). What kind and size of grinder wheel best to use? and any tips how to remove material once grooves are cut etc. etc..? Thanks

after I sort the last remaining exterior bits, I will be turning my attention to suspensions. I was thinking oe replacement shocks(guess kyb's best on the market) with 35mm lowering and run 15in corolla e120 or 2nd gen yaris 8spoke wheels. Originally wheel choice was 2nd gen yaris sport 6 spoke wheels, but they only come in 16in size and changed my mind after reading above. I am after better handling while sacrificing as little comfort as possible. roads here, other than major arteries, are s''t. What is the best shock-spring-wheel combo which suits my requirement? thanks

as above, do chrome dial surrounds exist for a glanza cluster? could not find any on ebay.

would like wagon style roof rails which run along the length of the roof rather than ACROSS it. Would shortening ones from, say, an avensis wagon, work?
