  1. Haha you guys are nuts, I've never broken a bone ever. I did manage to cut down to the bone of my thumb on a bandsaw at work. Tried to get a plaster but they insisted I went to the doctors, I was the first emergency of our freshly opened surgery the same day  ended up in hospital with 2 stitches and an xray to find out it took a chunk out of the bone.

Other than that I've had 1 bent collar bone aged 5 and thats it.

Only other visit to a hospital was when I had kidney stones 3 days before I went on holiday to zante greece. By far the worse pain I've ever felt, was told by doctors its the equivilant to child birth or being shot, plus theres nothing they can do about them, so spent half my holiday in aggony and the other half wasted :D

  2. My brother had this happen took 98p £1.51 then jacked up to £162 he just happened to be in the bank and his mate worked behind the counter and he asked what he'd been buying from sweden or somewhere odd. Also turns out u have to wait fir the money to go out befor you can claim it back :/

  3. awsome i want this :)

and depending on if its a 2.0l or 2.3l its a b20f or b230f (b230ft for if i was a standard turbo'd lump) stock the 2.3l are 165-190hp but are good for 300hp with front mount 3" exhaust up the boost less that £600 basically. 350-400hp can be had with a bigger turbo TD05? (evo turbo if i remember correctly) and injectors etc and after that the best way to make power is chuck the 16v head on from US spec volvos plus a new manifold to suit and get a bottom end from a volvo marine engine? then there good for 700-900hp with again bigger turbo injectors and a few other bits but generally quite easily tunable for not too much money.

p.s my dads got a 940 turbo and we've looked into tuning it behind his back haha

  4. the HEL ones use a small rubber sleeve similar to the ones on the ep70 youve pictured but they need ones like the ones on the ep82/91.

im wondering if they were fakes/knock off ones, as the place i got them is no longer open.

I dont supose you do your ep91 lines with a banjo fitting on the end??

  5. Put bluntly my brothers has just split, and mine just failed its mot on an excessively worn one, both less than a year old!!

Plus they dont actually properly bolt to the shock so you have to faff about with an adapter

Also has anyone got a spare front set of desent front brakelines??

  6. could always have them filled up with nitrogen if your that bothered about changing pressures (it remains at a more constant pressure over changing temperatures), most tyre fitters can do it sts holburns etc. for a small cost. but obiously you would want to find out what pressure you would want to be running before having them filled.

  7. as long as the vibrations from the engine dont trigger any sensors on the alarm it shouldnt be a problem it will just lock up like usual also the alarm will take 30secs to actually set in most cases.

The remote start is your biggest worry because ideally you want a neutral switch (to tell the alarm the cars in/not it gear) which manual starlets dont have so fitting one of these somehow is advisable. my car can be started in gear and actually drive off by itself!!

  8. im on bc's massive difference between soft and hard, so can be ajusted to suit your needs. only thing i can say with bc's is that adjusting them correctly (not moving the spring seat) the rears dont go particularly low, whereas im sure meisters do!
