  1. I would just like to express my dis-satisfaction about the team at Zisco Performance, Their service and lack of quality in my exhaust/manifold.

After dealing with Keith for quite a few months, and everything running smoothly after buying aftermarket parts, I decided to enquire about a 4EFE Manifold and exhaust system from him (custom) as my old standard exhaust had broken, so thought it would be good to get a nice upgrade and go for a custom setup from Zisco.

Now, after 5 months (The car is dry stored when not in use and used around 1k miles with the system on), this exhaust has rusted quite badly at the flanges, and is leaking exhaust gas (on both the manifold and exhaust).

As you can see I used stainless steel nuts/bolts to put the system together (I was supplied with steel from Zisco), the flanges have still rusted. At the particular point above exhaust gas is leaking too, hence the blackening. I bought the system as "Full Stainless Steel", so expected these to be stainless, but this obviously has been "misunderstood" by Keith and never bothered to ask what material flanges I would like to suit the STAINLESS system.

I have asked Keith about this issue, and what to do (I need it fixing), he said and I quote "Before putting it back in I would have it cleaned and welded from inside again. Everything else is fine."

So this means getting it welded with my own money/time (and taking it off the car, so now the car is not in use, due to bad welding).

After a few very formal replies between me and Keith after him trying to brush it under the carpet and get me to do the work myself to fix it, he is deciding between a full refund and collecting the lot and fixing it up (which I had to suggest). Which I am still waiting on a decision from him.

On top of the problems above, this system was requested for a 4EFE engine/body. The hangers that came on it for the centre section where to suit a 4EFTE (different position), and the lambda boss position was in the wrong position I asked for too. The reason for these being wrong.............I have no idea.............

So overall not very happy. I wouldn't use Zisco Performance if you require a QUALITY JOB doing. If you look at some of the welding, it is SHOCKING. I am even ashamed to say how much I paid for the manifold/exhaust, because it looks like it's been done by a very bad fabricator, not the fantastic Zisco Performance the forum has such trust in to do a QUALITY JOB.

Hopefully something will happen in the near future that will make me change my mind and buy from them again, but up until my items are sorted out that won't be happening at all.

  3. My brother stays in Nottingham so not far from you to come and see before offering mate, i'll give him a ring later on and see if I can sort something out with him and let you know either on here or by phone. A bit of a drive for me haha, so easier to get him to come. Cheers mate

  4. i've always done it with the engine on and pumped it with it running, never done it without, maybe it can be done without the engine on and just ignition on, but as I say I just do it with the engine on, the person inside can keep warm with the heaters on then lol

  5. take all wheels off, take cap off brake fluid res.

start car, get someone to keep applying the brake on command

get a hose and a cup part full of brake fluid, attach to passenger side rear bleed nipple, loosen and get person to pump break till it's clear. tighten nipple

again on driver side rear, again on driver side front, again on passenger side front. keep topping up brake fluid res. (you may need to do the cycle twice to make sure they are bled correctly, i've had a lot of air come out when doing it a second time so best to do it twice, if not three times)

it still takes 2-3 pumps after this process? it should be stopping with the first push on the brake
