  1. I can't run a filter on mine because there is no room, I've found the best way to secure the mesh is to use a decent strong jubaliie clip, just make sure it's tight. I would run a filter but there is zero room like yourself. Also keep an eye on the mesh from time to time as well. I have never had any problems so I'm sure it will be fine.

Thanks for the heads up pal, no harm in trying it :)

Just avoid the beach and change the engine oil often :)

    NOTED ! Ahaha :p

I run mine open never had any issues..depends if you can afford for it too go wrong tho i suppose. Wouldn't personally mesh it..a) its quite restrictive and b ) theres a very high chance it'll suck it in if you turn it upto 2 bar. Cant you get a tight 90 degree bend on that? Hard to tell from the pic!

Yeah we'll see. The outlet is 50mm on compressor housing and there isnt 50mm of room between the remote head lines & turbo. Its a tricky one, although it wont be ideal, mesh MIGHT be my only option. I'll try a few things out first & see how i get on with the mesh.

mine looks just as tight as that and I got a 90 on it but had the cut down the length of joiner

It is very tight, got any pictures bro?

    Thanks

  2. Looks awesome dude!

you have the same problem as me with my compressor housing, im using a TD05 20G and its flamin tight to the oil filter.

have you got a link to the mocal oil filter relocation kit you bought?

I dont have a link pal but i literally typed in ebay; Mocal Oil Starlet. It said universal but it doesnt fit as pictured. You will need to take of the Power Steering Pump and trim the bracket down but was pretty straight forward.

    Good Luck :)

  3. Yea it was a mocal one - wrong pic tho i think..

Whats up with it now? is it the wheel moving when you grab on to it and move it? If so, check the bottom of your coil overs are properly tightened where they meet the hub. You'll get the same symptoms if thats abit loose. Caught me out on an ep i brought before.

Its the wheel, disc etc. I'll check saturday anyway, if not i have a guy on fb who has a " good " hub.

Also not sure if im going to get a filter onto the turbo LOL

  4. Hi Guys,

Fitted two bearings now, only to realise its probably the hub seen as ive done 0 miles and the wheel moves drastically back/forth.

Im after a front passenger hub (complete with bearing etc)

If anyone has one, please get in touch...

I will request price and pictures on response :)

    Thanks

  5. Did you get the one i sent you? Hopefully it'll sort the problem dude. If not i have another solution that would work...

I got one from Mocal pal, it fits with some modification to the Power Steering bracket

    =l

It is fitted, and all is well, sort of ... NEW PROBLEM !!!

I'll upload the next problem after lunch.

Ohh and i fitted a new wheel bearing (Front Passenger) its done 0 miles, wheel moves drastically. Deffo need a new hub.

I'm hating on cars today... Ahaha

  6. So i bumped into an issue. Not the kind of issue im used to facing. Bascially the "windmill" Td05-18g is slightly too large to be bottom mounted. Previously it had been top mounted by Charlie but it never crossed my mind that maybe, just maybe it was slightly to large.

Fear not ... I think we have a solution on its way in the form of a Mocal Remote Oil Filter Kit.

Just hoping the one i've gone for is slim enough to fit between the gap of the turbo.

Heres a couple of pictures to show you what im getting at ...

I dont want to have to change turbo's, so im determined to make this work. Oh yeah i also picked up some new gaskets from ID-Workz, which were rapid with delivery as usual. Thanks again boys ...

  7. Thanks pal.. should b back up lakeside from april

Im looking forward to some Lakeside nights.

Went the other week and it wasnt bad but wasnt what it was.

We used to have a couple of similar locations more local, cranfield, newport pagnel but they got really hot.

    Was fun whilst it lastest.

Maybe you should venture down to a Canvay Island night ;)

  8. Right guys, keeping it simple.

    I have a Forged 4E running td05 18g, 550cc injectors, WEPR Ram & 3" Exhaust.

    Using EMU currently.

Where have people been for mapping a similar setup and what power did you make?

Any advice on good/bad experiences with mapping please feel free to share,

Just looking for some honest feedback before i choose where im going to go...

    TIA
