  1. I know Austec mate took my last car up there seemed ok people just got the impression because we don't own these high powered performance cars they didn't really make the effort etc as in wasn't bothered rang them 4 times to book the starlet in at first wasn't getting really any response apart from we are to busy at the moment
  2. I'm just wondering Mikey as still learning, you have a td04 I go min dyno last sat still on standard ct9 or course have a few mods but was running a safe 0.8 bar which put out 195.7bhp and the dyno bloke said that's still running safe
  3. Hello mate please PM me with details on both Wiper arms, both front indicators (the ones next to the headlights) and the front gt grill, also the clocks (as just after the plastic as mines got a massive crack in it) let me know please mate if there are any cracks or missing bits and if it will fit my starlet as mines on a L plate mark 2 so not sure it the mark 1 has different fittings Thanks Pat
  4. Surely your cars well for over 200bhp mate? Running a TD04?
  5. I just looked at there site yes they look the bollox and got some smashing parts but I just don't have the time to drive to Warrington for a dyno set up from all the way down here
  6. Hello guys has my car put on the rolling road and all set up correctly went to minicraft in haywards heath, anyone else been there? Thought they were fantastic very helpful and great with advice so if anyone's thinking of doing a rolling road etc I would highly recommend this place. Pat
  7. Most people probably don't know what it is nick mate just something old, it's been out away now because of crap weather and should be out in the summer
  8. That's the one nick would of gone up in that too but felt like crap sat night so stayed in pipe and slippers haha

    Blue rad hoses

As title says looking for blue rad hoses not fussed about the bottom one just the top one really, or has someone got a link please who does hoses which would fit and don't cost a lot like the ones for the starlet on the net. Thanks Pat
  12. May I add too I'm not looking for tons of power just a nice safe set up with a little bit of poke behind it 😁
  13. Thankyou Monty nice to have some positive feedback, all gaskets have come from id workz Thought the manifold would of been fine as it's the stainless steel one there the 89.95 ones on eBay but thankyou mate for the info Pat
  14. Hello guys just need to get this right or alittle advice please before I take my starlet on the dyno next Saturday, I have the following Ct9 turbo just standard 255l aftermarket fuel pump Sard FPR at the moment set to 2.6 bar Aftermarket manifold the £90 ones on eBay Fmic Relocation air filter to front grill Decat & aftermarket exhaust (not sure in make) FCD (that's set on 8 at the moment) Forge dump valve I know I have to adjust the actuator too before I drive to it too as that's not right and thanks to Burt on here showing me info I will sort that Monday, Cars only been started since more mods have gone on and won't be driven till next Saturday about 30 miles from me to the dyno place, budget is now low etc so I can't buy no more etc just wondering on what I have put once it's set up should it run fine and what's the best to set the actuator on for future reference like is 1.bar safe on these mods etc Hope this all makes sense and can't wait to get the car our on the road again Thanks Pat
  15. Thankyou so much guys for the info and burt in pm with the link makes a lot more sense now so thankyou so much I think I better adjust mine before it goes on the dyno to be set up as done a few bits to the furling etc, as at the moment I have set the actuator to to as short as it will go so the wastegate flap is shut tight
  16. Thankyou for the reply Wallace that's what I thought so the longer the actuator is the more open the wastegate flap will be at the start I thought the wastegate flap had to be set to fully closed which of course will shorten the actuator where you adjust it
  17. My startet is almost done but at the moment the wastegate is set to fully shut, where as on the other one the car started boosting around 4 and a half k revs when I looked it was obviously the wastegate was set open from the actuator hence why no boost I take it at low revs?
  18. Sorry for hijacking your thread burt I have just swapped turbos on mine, I was told you set the wastegate to fully shut which would mean of course the actuator was alot shorter then on my other turbo actuator, so when actually setting the actuator on the screw bit should we be doing it so the waste gate starts of fully shut? Does this make sense guys?
  19. I take my hat of to you mate that you want to do something like this, that's absolutely amazing that you have wanted to go down a path like this, it's always good to find out as much as possible about it though lots of homework, I personally think for something you wanna do it wouldn't be as easy as just jumping on a plane and getting a job when you get there but saying that lots of research in going to places like Africa should give you a much better answer, for me it was easy my best friend at the time found a job before he went and the rest of us took a few months spending money and found jobs when we was out there, I shouldn't think it would be that easy for what you wanna do though but good luck and keep us posted 😀
  20. Hello Billy mate I worked in Zante Greece the summers of 2001-02 luckily a group of us went our and we all helped each other, it's something you should do without a doubt but always research where your going first everywhere has hidden secrets even though the place to tourists seems fantastic when you live and work aboard its never like home, but give it a go you won't regret it, you mere to do it while your young because trust me I could never do it now at my age 😁
  21. I will be there chops mate but its very quiet winter time, spring/summer and when it gets warmer lots of jap cars are out in Brighton winter time is only for the hardcore people who come out a brave the cold
  22. Hello chez thank god for that will pm you now mate
  23. Don't look like it mate at the moment my starlets off the road aswell at mo, should be out Tuesday but in another car
  24. Bump, still after a PCV VALVE anyone
  25. Hello has anyone got a spare one please the gasket between the waste gate and downpipe aka elbow gasket searched on line for one all whats coming back is ones for £40, I mean really that's bloody expensive considering the TD04 ones are only like 15 quid and I only want one for a ct9 turbo, or is there another way of doing it, this is holding up putting parts in my car back together Thanks lads
